Welcome to my blog! I am purple an opinionated.  I am just your average young person who is trying to learn how to navigate life in the 21st century. I began to notice during my high school years that politics and religion, as well as other morally ambiguous topics, were driving our western culture to new levels of division. We are all required to be highly opinionated and yet if we disagree with the narrative, we are scorned. I chose purple because its what you get when you mix blue and red together. I consider my beliefs and opinions to be unaffiliated with political labels and value seeing arguments from both sides. I want to create a space where we can explore the current atmosphere without name calling. While I cannot promise that I am totally unbiased (as cultural upbringing tends to interfere) I do promise that anyone and everyone is welcome here.
